Bold colors, delicate stitching, tiny details

I love the color names vendors give Miyuki Japanese seed beads. These are called metallic dark raspberry gold luster, or metallic bronze iris. They’re deep burgundy with a little bit of sheen.

The pendant, about 3/4 inch long, is a ceramic beaded bead.

This necklace was made with St. Petersburg stitch, with cube cylinder beads on one side and red teardrops on the other. It’s dramatic but not over the top.
